Relaxing in the Sunshine

I will admit that the winters in Krakow are absolutely terrible and this is coming from someone who grew up in Wisconsin and is well versed in terrible winters. This horrible winter becomes a distant memory as soon as the sun begins to shine. Most of my time this week was spent outside breathing in the fresh air and soaking in the sunshine. I have decided that this summer I will dedicate a large chunk of time to find the best outdoor spaces in the city!
Let's Go Ride A bike

…and try not to fall off of it!
Yeah, so I went bike riding and fell off my bike. Not while I was moving or doing anything fancy. Oh no, just while I was standing on the path. You know, regular bike riding problems. I’m just a 28-year-old woman who can’t simply stand while taking a break from bike riding. To make things even better this lady came running to my side to help me, although I wasn’t injured and didn’t need help in any way. And, there I was laying on the ground laughing so hard I was almost crying trying to explain to a lady who only spoke Polish that I was fine and these sorts of events are just normal in my life… I mean, I really don’t know.
A Day At the Spa

After doing nothing but relaxing all week it was determined that I needed a day at the spa. The stress of chilling and doing nothing but relax had gotten to me. I needed to devote an entire evening to relaxation at a spa. We booked a cute little spa in the city and got massages and facials. My face is seriously glowing right now and my skin has never looked so good.
Bumble BFF

Umm…. well recently I was swiping on Bumble, a classier version of Tinder… I mean… this is what I tell myself, and I noticed there was a BFF tab at the top. I can now swipe to make friends! How exciting is that? Well, I had to try it out and guess what? I made a friend. That’s right as Emily swiped on one side of the couch, I swiped on the other side and now we are officially matched as friends on Bumble BFF. I mean if this doesn’t cement our friendship I don’t know what will.
Lemonade

Lemonade in Krakow is something taken very seriously and most of the lemonade I have had has been delicious. After the bike incident, we stopped at this little cafe near our house for lemonade and it was average at best. Actually, I think if I wasn’t living here for so long and had that lemonade it would have tasted great but, all lemonade has been ruined and I now consider myself a lemonade snob. So, today we went for some of the greatest lemonade ever and it was delicious!
